Saturday Club Term 1 2010 Program available!

(Read: 2429) Welcome to the Term 1 program. Welcome back to Saturday Club and a Happy New Year to you all. Thanks again to the great support of our existing and new members. Saturday Club is not trying to be an extension of school, rather an opportunity to gain a greater insight and expansion of knowledge, together with making friendships and having fun! We hope you continue to support our program and find it difficult choosing which session to attend! Please carefully read the general information on Saturday Club before making a booking. The Resource Centre will re-open for 2010 as from Wednesday 27th January and will normally be staffed on Wednesday and Friday between 10am and 4pm(Read: 1) although this can vary. GTCASA will again be holding Youth Workshops in 2010. The venue will be Flinders University, and many of the workshops will be presented by lecturers from the University.(Read: 14) PLEASE NOTE that these workshops will be held in the September/October school holidays and not in the April holidays as in previous years. Information will go out to schools towards the end of term 2, 2010. Where information about the Youth Workshops is not provided by the school, gifted students are encouraged to self nominate by contacting the Association early in term 3 2010. Children under 5 years old are not in a position to be assessed by a school teacher and therefore the Professional Nomination form may be completed by non-teaching professionals with experience and training in child development.
