After spending the last two years at St. Ignatius Senior Campus, the Gifted and Talented Children's Association of SA will be relocating to (Read: 21) Glenunga International High School situated at 99 L'Estrange Street GLENUNGA SA 5064 . (Read: 33) ELECTION OF GTCASA COMMITTEE Please note that the Association's Annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday 11th September at St. Ignatius College starting at 2.15pm. Please ensure all students are prompt and in their session by 2pm so the Meeting can start on time. GTCASA will again be holding Youth Workshops in 2010. The venue will be Flinders University, and many of the workshops will be presented by lecturers from the University.(Read: 75) Full information should be in schools at the beginning of Term 3 requesting them to register interest. Numbers for workshop sessions will be limited as they will be filled up on a first in, first served basis. Therefore to avoid disappointment we strongly urge parents to communicate with the school to speed up the process PLEASE NOTE that these workshops will be held in the September/October school holidays and not in the April holidays as in previous years. Where information about the Youth Workshops is not provided by the school, gifted students are encouraged to self nominate by contacting the Association early in term 3 2010. SATURDAY CLUB TERM 3

We are extending our "Bring a Friend" offer for the rest of 2010 so if your child has a friend who would like to attend sessions, please make a booking and pay the same fee per child. Thanks again to the great support of our existing and new members. Saturday Club is not trying to be an extension of school, rather an opportunity to gain a greater insight and expansion of knowledge, together with making friendships and having fun! We hope you continue to support our program and find it difficult choosing which session to attend! Please carefully read the general information on Saturday Club before making a booking. The Resource Centre is normally staffed on Wednesday and Friday between 10am and 4pm(Read: 48) although this can vary. Children under 5 years old are not in a position to be assessed by a school teacher and therefore the Professional Nomination form may be completed by non-teaching professionals with experience and training in child development.
